Soshihan Mehul Vora started hi martial arts training in 981 and he started coaching in 1994, he started his training of Battojutsu/Kenjutsu/Iaido in 1999 and in 2005 he was awarded a shodan and the Katana sword of honor by Shihan Kazo Inoue 8th dan in Mugai ryu Iai heido Nichiryukai.

Soshihan Mehul Vora is the first Indian licensed to teach Mugairyu in India in 2005, he is also the first Indian to be awarded the Katana Sword of honor.
